Despite that, we were extremely happy to see Paul Smith’s “Love Too” there! For those who don’t know what we’re talking about, “Love Too” is the wall hanging on Carrie Bradshaw’s redecorated apartment on Sex and the City.

Unfortunately, it’s been out of stock for many weeks now… It would look great at home!

No obstante, ¡nos encantó ver expuesto “Love Too” de Paul Smith! Para los que no sepáis de qué hablamos, “Love Too” es el tapiz con el que Carrie Bradshaw redecora su apartamento en Sexo en Nueva York.

Desgraciadamente, lleva varias semanas fuera de stock… ¡Quedaría tan bien en casa!

We’re about to freeze and the weather forecast doesn’t help encouraging; this week temperatures have dropped and reached sixteen degrees below zero in some Spanish spots.

Mario Testino, the artist

Last weekend we went on a road trip to Madrid and we could not go and take a look to Mario Testino’s “Todo o Nada” exhibition at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, which brings together fifty-four photographs which reveal two opposing directions in his work: fashion and the nude.

Spectacular pictures of top models such as Daria Werbowy, Sasha Pivovarova, Gisele Bündchen, Natalia Vodianova and Kate Moss lie next to incredibly glamorous and also ironic portraits of actresses like Jennifer Aniston, Kate Winslet and Kirsten Dunst.

We strongly recommend you to visit this exhibition, even if you’re not a fashion follower, as Mario Testino has been given world recognition as a photographer. You can see it until 9 January 2011.

El pasado fin de semana estuvimos en Madrid y no pudimos evitar dejarnos caer por el Museo Thyssen Bornemisza para ver la exposición “Todo o Nada” de Mario Testino, que reúne cincuenta y cuatro fotografías que ilustran dos de sus líneas de trabajo, en este caso opuestas: la moda y el desnudo.

Fotografías espectaculares de top models como Daria Werbowy, Sasha Pivovarova, Gisele Bündchen, Natalia Vodianova y Kate Moss comparten espacio con retratos increíblemente glamurosos y a la vez irónicos de actrices como Jennifer Aniston, Kate Winslet y Kirsten Dunst.

Os recomendamos que visitéis esta exposición, incluso si no sois grandes seguidores de la industria de la moda, ya que Mario Testino es un fotógrafo mundialmente reconocido. La exposición permanecerá abierta al público hasta el 9 de enero de 2011.
